soooo nervous

For some reason I am very nervous about this english class. I felt okay about it when I first signed up for it. I thought it would be pretty easy, but now I'm having second thoughts. I really can't decicde what to I want to write about for this class. I can't think of anything that I have a passion for. I have never really did research so I think it's going to be really hard for me to research topics, and do it the right way. I think after I get my topic out of the way I will get a little more confident about this. I also think this class willl teach me a lot of new things and help me out in the future. So right now I am really hoping that I can come up with a good topic that I will be able to write good papers on, and then we will see how it goes from there.

    Being nervous is normal. I promise. I can also assure you that you do have passions; perhaps, you just need to bring them to a level of conscious awareness. How do you spend your free time? What makes you angry? Happy? Sad?

    Girl, you will be fine. I understand how you feel. Although I am sometimes nervous about a situation, I like a challenge. And that's how you should be. You should look at every challenge in this class as a latter that you are climbing to get to the top where all the diomonds are at. So, set a goal along the way for every assignment and have something to reach for so once you achieve that goal you feel a sense of self accomplishment. We are in this ship together. Let me know if there is anything that I can do to help you understand more...not that I am an expert, but I do take pride in my work.

    I agree with carrie. From the looks of it, you are very intelligent. You didn't make it to college for no reason. See it as a challenge. Utilize Ms. Swan and your classmates because it is guaranteed you are not the only person feeling this way. If you ever need any help at all I will be glad to help.
